Day Camp Counselor

Come join our staff at Summer at Hawthorne Valley Farm, a 600 acre bio-dynamic farm in beautiful Upstate New York.  Our Kids Can Cook Day program connects children to the wonder and beauty of nature while they learn about nutrition, food, cooking and farming. 

Counselors guide children ages 8-13 through farm, cooking, craft, swimming and gardening activities.  Our staff works with small groups of campers, rotating through various activities. 

Qualifications:
• Experience working with children ages 8-13 in an outdoor setting leading hands-on activities
• A good work ethic; an ability to be flexible and work as a team member.
• Strong time management, communication, and organizational skills.
